Let’s Make Heaven Crowded
Matthew 7:13–14 (NIV)
“Enter through the narrow
gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and
many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to
life, and only a few find it.”
During my
recent visit to Charlotte, NC, I found myself reflecting deeply on life and
faith. As I flew back home from Houston to Victoria, I jotted down my thoughts…just
me, a quiet flight, and the city lights below reminding me of something much
greater.
Honestly it
was a very deep reflection.
This flight
is peaceful and comfortable, with no one sitting next to me. I truly needed
this time alone. It’s late, I’m tired. I really am happy I came on this trip.
The city
skyline stretches before me, its lights twinkling like stars against the
darkened sky. Even in the depths of night, the city pulses with life, a
testament to its resilience. In this moment, I feel am aware of the
significance of the great commission. Broad is the path and narrow is the way
towards Jesus.
Many
say they believe in Jesus, but they haven’t truly placed their trust in Him. The lack of complete faith leaves
countless people wandering in darkness, unaware of the path that leads to Jesus.
This moment,
I find myself observing a vast city. While some may be familiar with Jesus, the
number is likely quite smaller than many can even imagine.
This is
merely one city in America, and it is deeply tragic to see how many people
treat the concept of hell as a joke. The reality is far more heartbreaking and
soul crushing as we know . This is a place devoid of laughter, filled instead
with tears and the echoes of despair.
As I gazed
at the glittering skyline, I couldn’t help but think, how many people in this
vast city truly know Jesus? That question stirred something deeper in me, a
burden I couldn't shake.
One experience that shaped my understanding
of eternity happened during an event called Judgment House. I’ll never forget the “Hell Room.”
The room was
suffocatingly hot. A girl, chained to the wall, screamed for water, knowing no
help would come. Suddenly, she cried out, “Jesus, save me!”
But then came
Satan’s mocking laugh, echoed by demons. “It’s too late,” he hissed. “You chose
me.”
Her desperate cries, “No, I didn’t! I want Jesus!” …. still ring in my ears. But the sentence had already been declared: torment, forever.
It’s quite a
lot to ponder, isn’t it? I did give you a heads-up. But wait, there’s a silver
lining ahead!
We are still
here, alive and breathing, with the precious gift of time to ensure our passage
to heaven is secure. But time is ever
fleeting…
Jesus
proclaimed that He is the way, the truth, and the life, emphasizing that no one
can reach the Father except through Him. Our hope rests firmly in Jesus, the
key that opens the door to eternal life. It is essential to seek Him earnestly,
repent sincerely, and turn away from sin to embrace him as our Lord and Savior.
Hell is not
a subject for laughter; it is a grim reality, far from a joke. It represents an
unimaginable horror, magnified a thousandfold. The thought of flesh burning is
unbearable, and I shudder at the idea of my loved ones enduring such torment.
Ensure your
ticket to heaven is secure by aligning your heart with Jesus. It's essential to
cultivate a genuine relationship with Him, as mere knowledge of His existence
isn't enough. I long to gather with everyone I cherish around a heavenly table,
sharing in the joy of eternal life. Seek that connection with Christ.
I care deeply about each of you. My heart
longs to see every friend, every loved one, gathered around the heavenly table,
celebrating eternal life together.
If you don’t
yet know Jesus personally, today is the perfect day to begin. Don’t wait. Seek
Him. Surrender. Let His love transform your life. Let’s make heaven crowded.
John 14:6 (NIV)
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
